FAQs
Do I need to be available for every rehearsal?
An occasional absence is OK with advance notice, but we want our volunteers to be as consistent as possible.

Do I need to be present for the performances?
Our assistants are definitely needed for big performances!

What if I am only available for one semester?
Include that information in your application. If we take on multiple assistants, it may be OK to have one or two that only do one semester.

Can I get volunteer credit hours for NHS, Tri-M, or other honor society requirements?
Absolutely. We’re happy to sign off on your volunteering forms. We do hope, however, that you will work with CAYC
because you WANT to be a part of the organization. If your heart's not in it, we won’t be a good fit.
