ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
All singers wishing to join our full-season choirs (Prelude & Lyric) must complete a Placement Audition.
This is a low-pressure meet-and-greet with the director to assess the singer's current level and recommend the appropriate ensemble for them.
The Placement Audition event includes a sample rehearsal and small group/individual assessments.
Prelude singers do not need to have any prior music knowledge.
However, they must be able to match pitch and follow instructions in a classroom setting.
Lyric singers should have at least some basic music knowledge and be prepared to learn at a faster pace.
Discovery Choir, our introductory ensemble, does not require a Placement Audition.
